We built CVBER because artists deserve better.
Every day, billions of artworks are scraped, copied, and fed into AI models without consent. Artists lose $27B+ annually. Existing tools cost $19-$199/month or take 30-50% commission. We thought that was unacceptable.
The problem is real.
So we did something different.
Before writing a single line of code, we ran 2,400 synthetic interviews across 8 art segments using cognitive behavioral science frameworks. Not surveys. Not polls. Deep, structured conversations that simulate how real artists think, feel, and make decisions.
We used Jobs-to-be-Done theory to understand what job artists hire protection tools to do. We applied Prospect Theory to understand loss aversion. We ran Cognitive Load analysis to figure out exactly how many clicks a protection workflow can have before artists abandon it.
The result? We found our beachhead: tattoo artists. 8.5/10 fit score. 60% daily use intent. 85% would recommend. They have unique designs, rampant theft, no existing tools, and a tight-knit community that spreads by word-of-mouth.
